For someone who loves to travel and see new places, venturing abroad to photograph beautiful weddings is THE perfect trip! Combining my love for both weddings and travel, travelling to Ravello in Italy for Megan & Sam's wedding at Hotel Parsifal was extremely special.
Recently I was lucky enough to travel to stunning Ravello in Italy to photograph the wedding of Megan & Sam who I met earlier in the year and it was one of the most wonderful trips!
Well, where do I start with this one?! Flying over to Nantes in France to photograph a wedding at a beautiful Chateau amongst the rural French countryside was once only a reality in my dreams, until recently!
Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Hitesh's proposal to his beautiful girlfriend, Pretty, along the beach in Holland On Sea.
Photographs from a pre-wedding photoshoot set in a beautiful meadow, with a beautiful couple! Perfect combination.
Sharing my personal life with my potential, new and existing clients is something that I'm trying to implement into my website more and more so that you can really get to know me.
*Exciting News* I have been chosen by the judges as a finalist in the Essex Wedding Awards for Wedding Photographer of the Year!
So proud to have won the Rising Star of the Year Award at the Tendring Blue Ribbon Awards!
Your wedding day flies by so quickly that it's important to remember to relax, have fun and enjoy every moment. Life is way too short to take everything seriously! Let your hair down 💁
Catherine & Nathan's Pre-Wedding Photoshoot at Hylands Park, Chelmsford. Such a stunning location full of beautiful floral features, Hylands Park was perfect. Catherine & Nathan are set to marry at Leez Priory in August 2016. Check back then to see their wedding photographs!
Cheryl & Ben's wedding day at Creeksea Place Barns in Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex was so magical and I've put together a slideshow video to give you a sneak peak! This particular wedding photography slideshow is the wedding of Cheryl and Ben who married at Creeksea Place Barns in Burnham-on-Crouch. A full blog post displaying their entire wedding photograph collection will be coming soon but for now, here’s a little preview :)
Outdoor weddings, woodland weddings, festival weddings - Any weddings out in the beautiful natural environment are my favourite to photograph! As a creative and alternative wedding photographer in Essex I love the boho-look these weddings often brings and being surrounded by so much beautiful greenery is always a pleasure. Charlie & Tom's woodland wedding in Alresford was no different and the effort they both put into all the little details and special touches made the day perfect.
I'm so excited to be capturing this beautiful couple's wedding this July! Laura & Steve are the loveliest, most relaxed, fun couple ever and their pre-wedding photoshoot was so enjoyable. Roaming around the rapeseed fields at Grange Farm, Thorpe-le-Soken, we were able to capture some stunning moments amongst the bright yellow plants, and also used coloured smoke bombs which added another dimension to the photographs!
Claire & Matt’s wedding at Maidens Barn in Chelmsford, Essex was full of personal, vintage, DIY touches that made the wedding extra special. Beautiful mini chalkboard table plan, red love heart lolly pop favours and huge ‘L O V E’ balloons were all part of the decor, and their love for beer was clearly evident from the empty bottles used as table markers.
The stunning woodland wedding of the new Mr & Mrs Shillingford, Carl & Beth, was definitely one to remember. With such unique, vintage and artistic features, this Suffolk wedding offered something new to see in every direction.
From flying butterflies, straw-bale seats, mushroom table accessories, a unicorn and bunting to fairy flower girls, feather confetti, message pebbles and fireworks, so much thought was put into the wedding of Carl & Beth and this made the day so incredibly special.
When I warned Kelsie that wellies would be a very good item to bring along for this photoshoot at Weeley Hall Wood in Clacton On Sea, I don't think it was apparent to her initially just how necessary these would be. However upon arrival at Weeley Hall Wood, this became very clear! We trundled through the thick muddy patches and murky puddles but it was so worth it.
So last year one of my photographs was placed in the Top 100 in the Shoot & Share Photo Contest which was amazing... However I have just found out that one of my photos this year has been voted so highly that I'm a finalist and in the top 3.5% :D
