The mesmerising view, the soft sand, the crashing waves, the fresh air… I literally love everything about the beach and that’s why a Clacton beach pre-wedding photoshoot, or a pre-wedding photoshoot on any beach in the UK or abroad, is my haven. As soon as I walk down the slope towards the sea I just feel this instant wave of calmness rush over me and I’m not sure why it has this impact but I’m so glad that it does. Running a business totally by yourself can become super stressful so it’s great to have that space that you can head to when you just need a moment to breathe. Growing up I’ve been extremely lucky to never live more than a 5 minute walk from the sea and I really couldn’t imagine living too far away from a coast somewhere in the world. The beach stretches the whole way along Clacton On Sea and also has a pier which is great fun! So if you’re ever looking for a little day trip definitely check it out, especially is you live in a busy city!

Rebecca + Tom are getting married at Sidney Sussex College (their University and also where they met, so sweet!) with their reception at the wonderful Granary Estates in Norfolk later this year and heading to the beach for their Clacton pre-wedding photoshoot was the perfect retreat to explore somewhere new out of their area.

I don’t think I stopped laughing the whole time during their Clacton beach pre-wedding photoshoot, Tom has such an infectious, hilarious personality and Rebecca was so lovely, she gave as good as she got when Tom taunted her – in the nicest way possible of course haha! One debate included whether or not to have a bouncy castle at their wedding…. of course my answer was 100%. You don’t get much more fun than a massive bouncy inflatable castle, these were not just invented for kids I’m sure of it!

Clacton On Sea itself doesn’t really have any wedding venues but the surrounding towns like Colchester and Ipswich are full of them, so if you’re planning a wedding in the nearby areas then why not head to Clacton for a Clacton beach pre-wedding photoshoot, you’ll be inundated with chips and ice cream and come on, you can’t get much better than that.
