I like to think of myself as a fun wedding photographer and not the kind that forces you to stand and smile constantly in cheesy poses which in turn make you feel uncomfortable and awkward. Any opportunity that allows me to have a laugh with you both and bring out your inner child I’m game for! Real connections between the two of you is all I care about and it’s my job as a fun wedding photographer to portray that on camera. Cheryl and Ben were such lovely, care-free individuals and a pleasure to photograph! The setting at Creeksea Place Barns is so beautiful and the fact that each of your guests can have their own room or apartment and the venue just has this lovely close, family feel which I love!
The weather all day long at Cheryl and Ben’s Creeksea Place Barns wedding was so up and down we literally had it all; sun, rain, thunder, hail and rainbow! Thankfully the weather conditions all worked well with the timeline of the day and we had bright sunshine during the outoor ceremony and then the rain hit whilst everyone was inside. Of course though, being a fun wedding photographer doesn’t mean when it rains you go and hide and find places to take photo inside, you embrace the weather and go with the flow! So for Cheryl and Ben this meant grabbing some umbrellas and racing over to the field where we were blessed with the most beautiful rainbow. A lot of people always ask me if the rainbow in those images is Photoshopped because they can’t believe how perfect it was stretching over Creeksea Place Barns, but I assure you it was exactly there in all of it’s glory!
We ended the day running through fields together and dancing in the rain, the kind of things you can expect by choosing to book a fun wedding photographer rather than a super formal and traditional photographer!
